Your response will affect my academic status greatly..

GOD BLESS..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235276292454918436.post-75969961163796824822011-10-22T13:57:56.935-04:002011-10-22T13:57:56.935-04:00I really enjoyed this article, and I think the rig...I really enjoyed this article, and I think the right questions were asked in order to see if the students understood the reading. The answers represent some interesting perspectives. I can sort of see how the examples of real life relational understanding make sense, but they all seemed to emphasize the idea of practice or actually performing a task in order to get hands-on experience. This is kind of misleading in terms of math because I thought relational understanding had more to do with understanding why something occurs or works. Like in solving equations - I can practice moving terms from one side of an equation to another to obtain a result all night, but practice doesn't do me much good in understanding it conceptually if I don't understand the concepts of mathematic manipulation and maintain equalities. Just my observation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235276292454918436.post-58877927800357686732011-02-19T08:22:23.564-05:002011-02-19T08:22:23.564-05:00I've read this article twice now and I don'...I've read this article twice now and I don't think that I got nearly as much from it then than I have in reading this post...

Though I don't think I would have gotten nearly as much from this post without having read the article twice.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235276292454918436.post-88704410853792780092011-02-15T21:39:38.877-05:002011-02-15T21:39:38.877-05:00Wow, this is great stuff.
